The New Year got off ot a flying start with the Edinburgh NYD Ironkids Event
Will Johnstone sprinted off to a spirited start and came home 1st in a time of 11:15
Niall McLeod just lost out to 3rd place inches from the line in a big sprint in a time of 11:54
In the girls race Erin McLeod mirrored Wills performance never being out of the leading position crossing the line in 12:59
