A very chilly, but thankfully dry Sunday saw the 1st round of the Mazda Youth Aquathlon Series at Boclair near Glasgow. JETS were well represented at the event with Erin coming home with a win in the 13/14 Female race while Kate, Kerry and Laura battled with each other to finish 4th, 5th and 6th. In the younger age group female race Alana finished a good second, less than 10 seconds behind the winner.
In the boys races Scott raced hard against some very fast 13/14 year olds to finish 4th while Niall struggled with a head cold to finish 2nd in the 15/16 age group.
The 2nd round of the series is at Stirling on 30th hope you all have your entries in as the event is full
The new Scottish Triathlon high performance coach Chris Volley will be at the event so race hard and smile as you pass him
